ROLE
The Junior Researcher Associate on IWRM is responsible for analyzing the available water resources and the related variability determined by climate change.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Researcher Associate is responsible for:
  • Supporting the team in developing estimation of the water irrigation requirements for different type of crop, applying SIMETAW model and modifying it to better estimate water consumption. Relation between water use and yield of the selected crops, in order to estimate real water productivity.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, agricultural sciences, environmental sciences.
  • Very good knowledge of the English language.
  • Accuracy and good analytical skills.
DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
  • The Managers will be based in Sassari CMCC office.
  • The appointment period will be initially of 3 months starting from June 2026, with a gross annual salary range of 2000-2500 Euros. Tenure can be granted from 2 to 4 years after being appointed as a junior researcher.
  • Flexible working time as per internal policies.
  • Support during the immigration process, if needed.
PROTECTED CATEGORY Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
Some fiscal benefits could be applied for repatriated workers or foreign researchers/professors, having the requirements defined by Dlgs 147/2015 (for repatriates) or Dl 78/2010 (for foreigners).
