Prometeia is proud member of a partnership with GRINS – Growing Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable is an extended partnership between 12 public universities (Bologna, Napoli Federico II, Padova, Torino, Politecnico di Milano, Bari, Catania, Palermo, Roma Tor Vergata, Cagliari, Venezia Ca’ Foscari and Bergamo), 3 institutions (University of Bocconi, the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance – EIEF, and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa) and a number of private companies and institutions. GRINS is financed with funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) and its goal is to create knowledge, tools and data to support the national system of research in accordance with the guidelines and principle of the NRRP: favoring resilient, inclusive, and sustainable growth.

As one of the partners of the project, Prometeia seeks to hire researchers to work in areas of empirical research and data collection (data scraping, natural language processing, image/voice recognition) related to sustainable and resilient growth: design and evaluation of public policies for the climate transition, households’ resilience to economic and financial shocks, sustainable finance, climate risk management, innovation and policies for the circular economy.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
  • Proven experience with empirical research and data analysis
  • A degree in Economics, Statistics with a strong focus in the fields of classical econometrics and data analysis techniques;
  • Research or work experience in the areas detailed above are a preferential requirement;
  • Strong analytical and writing skills and track record in producing written work and other communications and knowledge materials;
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
SOFT SKILLS:
  • Ability to take responsibility for achieving agreed outputs within set deadlines;
  • Openness to change and ability to receive/integrate feedback;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
